If you wish to learn how to play the Alpine zither, or if you are a current player looking for advanced instruction, the following teachers are available for zither lessons.

Pennsylvania

Tom Groeber has been playing the zither since 1980 and received his first instruction from Sofian Zapf of Philadelphia, PA. For lessons, Tom has student zithers that can be loaned to start learning. Tom enjoys playing European folk music as well as American standards that people are familiar with. Tom is also available for accordion lessons and has played over 50 years with the U.S. Navy and Army. Interested students can contact Tom at thomasgroeber AT hotmail DOT com.
