Zitherist Alberta Krader

This early photo of Alberta Krader, shown here with her Franz Schwarzer concert zither, comes to us courtesy of Lavana Brechbiel. Born in 1886, zitherist Alberta Krader was raised in New Castle, Pennsylvania. A music teacher by profession, she took frequent breaks to travel and perform with her zither.
